Paving the path to a brighter future

Updated: Jan 23, 2019

In 2018, Boy Scouts of America made the groundbreaking decision to expand a program that has served boys for nearly 110 years, allowing girls to join in in the fun. Re-branded as ScoutsBSA, BSA now provides program activities to both girls and boys ages 5-11 at the Cub Scout level and ages 11-17 at the Scout level.

Seizing the opportunity to provide a great program to girls in our community, Floris United Methodist Church approved the formation of an all-girl Troop in September of 2018. With chartering just around the corner, the Scout Masters, Committee, and Adult Volunteers at the newly formed Troop #7 are excited to formally launch the Troop. Through dedication and hard work, we are 100% positive that Troop #7 is going to provide all of our Scouts and Scouters the opportunity of a lifetime!
